I have recently completed a Level 3 Content Creator apprenticeship. This has equipped me with real-world experience of design, working within brand guidelines, developing messaging, copy writing and managing/updating website content. This has been complemented by extensive off-the-job training including campaign planning and evaluation, search engine optimisation and practical photography & video workshop sessions.
Prior to this, I spent two years studying a Level 3 BTEC in Film & Television Production and A-level Photography at Blackpool Sixth Form College. These courses gave me strong technical foundations in photography and video as well as the use of specialist software such as Premiere Pro, as well as transferrable skills including communication, time management and ability to work as part of a team.
Over the past few years, I have worked on several external projects alongside my apprenticeship and studies including promotional videos for Women Rockin' Harmony Choir and the Wooden Spoon charity. I also worked briefly as a Matchday Photographer for the Blackpool FC Girls & Ladies Development Squad, and have undertaken a number of video and photography-related projects to support the work of Blackpool Youth Council.
