A-level Photography
Blackpool Project
My main coursework project was based around Blackpool and the contrast between the vibrant, busy summer season and the out-of-season winter period.
Through this project, I developed the ability to produce atmospheric images on-location, utilising colour and shutter speed to capture different moods.
Lockdown Study Project
Starting with the theme of 'Inside and Outside', this developed into a personal project focusing on my experience of home education during lockdown. With exams approaching, I found the stressors of the school environment becoming increasingly prominent in the home.
The majority of the work in this project was self-portrait, utilising poses, studio lighting techniques and moving image to convey my mood and experiences.
